Product Recall: 3M Peltor Comtac VIII Headset (2607-0161) (3M) was announced earlier this year, in the "Personal protective equipment (PPE) - Hearing Protection - Powered" category. The product presents a serious risk of hearing loss because affected batches may emit feedback noise (measured up to 106 dBA) through the headset speakers. The likelihood of occurrence of this issue can be increased in cold ambient temperatures and with a depleted battery state.
