What to do if you bought this product
What is the hazard with Product Recall: Vilac Farm Musical Blocks (2607-0202)?
Product Recall: Vilac Farm Musical Blocks (2607-0202) (Vilac) was announced earlier this year, in the "Toys – Musical Toys (Powered)" category. The product presents a serious risk of choking as it includes small parts that can detach or break off during reasonably foreseeable use, creating small parts that fit entirely within a small parts cylinder. These small parts pose a choking risk to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in their mouths. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. This falls under one of the more serious hazard categories (injury, choking or strangulation risk), so the recall covers every unit sold, not only units with a reported incident.
