Electric Welding Machine, MIG-270 sold via Amazon (2606-0195) was announced earlier this year, in the "Machinery - Welding/Blow Torches (Powered)" category. The product presents a high risk of electric shock because the mains plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The pins were found to be inadequately sized. Over time, they may become worn down and damaged. It was also found that consumers can access the live parts of the plug without the use of tools as the side panel could be opened.
