What is the hazard with LCD Projector HY300 (2608-0171)?

LCD Projector HY300 (2608-0171) was announced earlier this year, in the "Communication and media equipment – Projection Systems" category. The product presents a risk of electric shock because the plug face does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The plug pins are less than 9.5mm from the periphery. If a user touches the pins while unplugging or plugging in the product, they may receive an electric shock. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994. That is the hazard as reported publicly by the firm and the regulator; it does not necessarily mean every unit has failed.
