What to do if you own this product
What is the hazard with Gobi Heat Rechargeable Hand Warmers?
Gobi Heat Rechargeable Hand Warmers was announced in the last month, in the "Electric Blankets/Warmers" category. The lithium-ion battery and electrical components in the recalled hand warmers can overheat and ignite, posing a risk of serious injury from fire and burn hazards. This falls under one of the more serious hazard categories (injury, choking or strangulation risk), so the recall covers every unit sold, not only units with a reported incident.
