What to do if you own this product
What is the hazard with JINHEZO Mini Waterproof LED Tea Lights?
JINHEZO Mini Waterproof LED Tea Lights was announced earlier this year, in the "Other" category. The LED Tea Lights violate the mandatory safety standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the button batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the packaging and product do not have the warnings required under Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death. This falls under one of the more serious hazard categories (injury, choking or strangulation risk), so the recall covers every unit sold, not only units with a reported incident.
What should you do if you own this product?
Consumers should stop using the recalled LED Tea Lights immediately and contact Mystic Zo for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers will be asked to email their order number or bar code number, if available, along with a photo of the tea lights disposed of in the trash to jinhemaoyi2016@sina.com. Note: Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures. Sold at: Online at Amazon.com from March 2024 through July 2026 for between $16 to $20 per pack.. If you bought it somewhere else, the remedy above still applies — contact the firm directly using the official recall page linked below.
