This site is run by one person, not a newsroom. The address below is read for real, and it is the same channel for a wrong figure, a photo takedown request and anything about privacy.
You found a wrong deadline, figure or rule
Tell us which page and which sentence. A link to the CPSC, OPSS, Health Canada or ENERGY STAR page that shows the correct wording helps even more — that is how a correction goes out the same day. Product safety notices get amended and withdrawn, and that is exactly where a reference site goes stale first.
You took one of the photos
Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under a free licence, with your name and the licence printed under each image. If the credit is wrong, or if you want your photo off the site even though it is freely licensed, write to us: we take it down, no argument.
You are a manufacturer, importer or agency
Recall pages restate what the CPSC, the OPSS or Health Canada published, with a link to the official notice. If the agency amended or closed a case, send the link to the updated notice and the page will reflect it. We do not remove a recall that is still published at the source.
Privacy and data
There is no sign-up and no visitor database, so normally there is nothing of yours to delete. Even so, any request about personal data reaches this address and gets an answer.
We do not reply to paid link offers, link exchanges, sponsored posts or "content partnerships". We also do not look up a plate, a fine, an ID or a driving licence by email — that only exists in the official channels.
